Collaboration
Nike Skateboarding collaborated with the women founded skate brand Doyenne to create a collection that celebrates workwear while adding active elements and utilizing recycled materials. Designed to adapt to its wearer, the clothes combine comfort and versatility.
For the project I was tasked with reinterpreting an original artwork created by painter Martina Giuseppone. In order to execute on the selected materials, I created a graphic interpretation that allowed for printed applications. The paintings color was simplified to allow for multiple crisp colorways. The end result remains painterly and expressionistic. It keeps the original energy of the artwork while allowing for versatility.
